How To Operate Industrial Separating Tire Rim Machine?

Operating BS-TC industrial separating tire rim machine is simple. Follow these six steps for safe and efficient separation:

1. Adjust the Support Rods

Select the appropriate support positions for the tire size, then insert and secure the rods firmly.

2. Position Tire

Place the waste wheel flat on the working platform and make sure it is evenly supported by the rods.

3. Press the First Side

Use the auxiliary cylinder lever to press down one side of the tire. Keep the holding head close to the rim without contacting it.

4. Press Down the Opposite Side — Aluminum Rims Only

Retract the holding cylinder, rotate the tire 180°, and repeat Step 3 on the opposite side. This helps distribute the force more evenly and reduces the risk of deforming the aluminum rim. Skip this step for steel rims.

5. Separate

Operate the main cylinder lever to lower separation press head. Make sure the press head is correctly aligned and does not interfere with the holding cylinder as separation begins.

6. Retract and Remove

Once separation is complete, retract main cylinder first, followed by holding cylinder. Remove the separated tire and rim to finish the cycle.

Ensure that the support rods are spaced far enough apart to securely hold the tire in place, while also leaving enough clearance for the rim to slide off freely during removal. Be sure to adjust the position of the support rods before proceeding, especially when working with tires of a new size.

Make sure the main cylinder moves downward without contacting the auxiliary cylinder or its frame. A limit screw at the rear of the main cylinder is used to control its working angle.

When processing a new tire size, lower the main cylinder slowly and check the clearance. If the two parts are too close, stop the equipment and adjust the limit screw before continuing.
