Ensure that the support rods are spaced far enough apart to securely hold the tire in place, while also leaving enough clearance for the rim to slide off freely during removal. Be sure to adjust the position of the support rods before proceeding, especially when working with tires of a new size.
Make sure the main cylinder moves downward without contacting the auxiliary cylinder or its frame. A limit screw at the rear of the main cylinder is used to control its working angle.
When processing a new tire size, lower the main cylinder slowly and check the clearance. If the two parts are too close, stop the equipment and adjust the limit screw before continuing.
Our BS-TC tire rim separator requires a matching plug and socket, as shown in the examples below, and a 1.5 m power cable. Confirm the electrical connection for your machine configuration before installation.
