Step 1. Pre-Operation Checklist

  • Clear the surrounding operational zone of all flammable, volatile, or explosive materials to guarantee a secure working environment.
  • Inspect all hydraulic lines, hoses, and fittings to verify that there are no fluid leaks and that the fluid transmission is functioning optimally.
  • Check the hydraulic oil reservoir level to ensure it is filled to at least four-fifths (80%) of its total volumetric capacity for continuous cooling and pressure.
  • Calibrate the hydraulic pressure gauge to the optimal operational setting, ensuring a steady, high-torque cutting force during the shearing cycle.

Step 2. Operational steps

  • Place scrap rotor on the working platform, making sure it is properly positioned beneath the cutting blade.
  • Push the lever down to make blade slice the rotor.
  • Pull the lever upward to raise the blade; if you release the lever, the cutter will stop moving.
  • Control the slice thickness by manually pushing the rotor, and repeat the process until finishing slicing.

FAQ

150# rotor slicing machine uses international 46# hydraulic oil by default. Before operation, the oil level in the tank must be maintained at four-fifths or higher to ensure proper machine function.

There is a white nut sleeve on one side of the control lever. Unscrew the nut sleeve, then loosen the nut inside. Use a size 5mm Allen wrench to turn the screw to adjust the pressure (turning clockwise increases the pressure; counterclockwise reduces it)

Be sure to lubricate the blades and blade tracks regularly. Please inspect the blade if dull or crack, it can be sharpened, but only along the bevel.

  1. Ensure the hydraulic oil level in the tank is at least four-fifths full.
  2. Check the solenoid valve. If the solenoid valve is clogged, stop the machine and use a thin, rigid object no thicker than 4 mm to press back and forth against the metal contacts at both ends of the solenoid valve. Manually clear the oil flow path before resuming normal operation.
